As 2020 comes to a close, trials, suffering and illness filled the year, as it does every year. For the believer, our joy and our hope isn’t set on earthly circumstances. Jesus told His disciples this in John 16:16-33. Trouble will come, there will be sorrow, but it will all be turned to joy because your joy isn’t in this world, it is in a sovereign God.
